Wooo hooo! Going to Dallas, Texas! There are so many exciting Dallas events, that I may have some problems deciding just exactly what to do first. I suppose one of the first things to do would be to start with some Dallas tours. There is the Outdoor Sculpture Tour, where I can visit 30 different pieces of sculpture all along the sidewalks of the Downtown area of Dallas. I have always wanted to see the School Book Depository and the Grassy Knoll that is so famous, so a visit to the John F. Kennedy Memorial is definitely going on the list of things to see when I tour Dallas.

One of the more popular Dallas events is going into Arlington and seeing the Dallas Cowboys play at Cowboy Stadium. There are also hockey games, basketball games, and all sorts of other great sporting events on the Dallas events calendar.

There are Dallas events where I might take to the skies during the Plano Balloon Festival, or enjoy the Texas Crossroads Festival complete with live music and some old fashioned games like horseshoes and badminton.

Of course, there is the Stockyards Championship Rodeo that must go on the list of Dallas events. Taking place every Friday and Saturday at the Cowtown Coliseum, I can definitely get my fill of the West when watching bull riding, barrel racing, and all the events that make up a true Texas style rodeo. The Dallas Farmers Market is also on the list of Dallas events. Open seven days a week, you will find a huge selection of fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers and herbs.

There are museums such as the Dallas Museum of Art and the Perot Museum of Nature and Science that should be visited. How about a live concert at the Kessler Theater or the Winspear Opera House? Whether you like classic music or are a bit more rock and roll, the Dallas events calendar is sure to hold something you will enjoy.

Dallas events can also include a visit to the Dallas World Aquarium where you can stroll through a rainforest and see bird flying high above, as well as sloths, crocodiles and all sorts of monkeys. Dallas info sites say this should be fun for the whole family.
