At some point in their lives, 80 percent of Americans will suffer from back pain, one of the the most common maladies in the population. The reasons why someone could have to deal with the pain will vary from person to person, but certain things, like being overweight, not exercising, smoking, and simply getting older, could all cause pain. Usually, the best way to get rid of pain is by finding a a chiropractor doctor and receiving treatments. A talented spine doctor will be able to determine the problem, and know the best way to treat it, making them a great resource for any individual who is tired of having an aching back.
From top to bottom, the three segments of the spine are the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar. Combined, they give spines their “S curve” shape. However, the complex nature of the way they fit together, could make it difficult for individuals to avoid back pain altogether. While some will have to deal with a herniated disc in neck, others might need spondylolisthesis treatment to repair a small stress fracture that generally occurs in the fifth lumbar of the lower back. Spondylolisthesis is one of the most common causes of pain in adolescents, especially athletes, and is a significantly different condition than many others will occur.
Because the causes and nature of back pain can vary so much, it is imperative for individuals looking to keep their back healthy to find a chiropractor they can trust. Many will have to find a chiropractor who they can see regularly to get help dealing with degenerative disc disease. Though it is called a disease, the condition is really just the normal aging process, but it can cause changes in the discs that cushion the spine. In other cases, someone will only need to see a chiropractor once or twice to treat an acute condition. Either way, finding the right chiropractor is a must.
Fortunately, there are steps that people can take in order to avoid back problems altogether. Perhaps the most effective strategy is maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle that includes regular exercise. By doing so, individuals can keep their weight down and muscles stronger so that there is less strain on their back every day. But even little things, like sitting up straight while working at a desk all day, can make a big difference. Read more.

I love my chiropractor. I like to go every week or two if I can just to make sure everything is in line.
I dont go nearly that often, but I do maybe once a month. Its amazing how much better I feel after I have a session.
