HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) training and certification, for example, ensures that food handlers are using the safest and most effective practices. ISO, the International Standards Organization, also has a variety of standards and Iso training programs governing a wide variety of organizations. ISO 14000, for example, is a family of environmental management standards that helps organizations minimize how their operations affect the environment and comply with applicable regulations. Other ISO certifications, however, such as the ISO 9000 certification pertain to food safety. Overall, there are numerous options for food safety training, from the as9100 or the CMMI certification.
